Workflow Manager Redesign

My Role: Product Designer and Manager
Company: EasySend.io
Project Overview
Led the complete redesign of EasySend's workflow builder interface, evolving from limited sequential processes to a flexible, visual workflow builder that supports complex enterprise use cases and drives strategic customer engagement.
My Role
As a Senior Product Designer, I led end-to-end design strategy across two key initiatives:
Workflow Interface: Spearheaded user research, competitive analysis, and UX strategy resulting in a drag-and-drop flowchart builder
Operational Portal: Owned discovery through design execution for live process management and transaction tracking
EasySend's value proposition to enable SMBs and enterprises to replace complex manual data-intake processes with  “digital journies” was undermined by fundamental product limitations:
Limited flexibility: Sequential-only workflows couldn't handle parallel processes or complex business logic
Poor visibility: Critical settings were buried in nested menus created cognitive overhead and difficuly understanding the overall processes.
Operational gaps: Scattered management tools prevented effective workflow monitoring and optimization
The Challenge
To better understand user needs, we conducted comprehensive user research that included user interviews and competitive analysis across form builders, BPM systems, and RPA tools to identify market opportunities and user pain points.

We Identified two distinct personas: Developers (workflow builders) and Operators (process managers), and mapped and prioritized they needs and missing capabilities.

Based on these insights, we formed the requirements, developed additional features, and designed a new building and tracking experience tailored to meet the core needs of each user type.
